Weddings are very special to us. A union of two, captured within a moment to share in front of all that is beloved.
When you think of weddings, one's mind typically imagines roses, pastels, peonies and pinks, with the background of Summer or Springtime.
Evelyn and Joris chose a very unique season for devoting their love to one another, this time one year ago, during Christmastime. And it turned out to be one of the most unique and handsome weddings we have worked on. Belmont Events did a splendid job, as they always do, of coordinating the prestigious black tie event, and you can really see the love that was placed in every single detail.
Winter in Amsterdam is one of the most magical seasons, as it is a city of warm light, cosiness and sharing a drink with a loved one to celebrate the holiday feeling and festivities. These series of images are warm, inviting and full of so much love, that it touches our hearts.
The venues were shared between The Hangar and Hotel de Goudfazant, within Amsterdam Noord, along the waterside, both indoor and outdoor.
The theme 'A Midwinter Night's Dream' was certainly an appropriate title for an abundance of twinkling Christmas trees, a suspended aerial floral 'chandelier', with the purity of green and white flowers, combined alongside dark hues. Evelyn's chose for a petite bouquet of a deep Midwinter blue. Something she still has preserved today. The perfect combination.
