Almost 7000 visitors came to Amsterdam to visit the 31 sites, of which 20 gardens displayed a single arrangement made from Ecuador flowers. A.P Bloem were one of 4 florists in Amsterdam to be selected to design and create 5 arrangements (1 arrangement across 5 locations) for the special event.
We are very happy to have been chosen as the people's favourite!
The arrangement displayed in the garden of Foam Museum in Amsterdam contained a very tropical feel and included giant Musas (banana flower), Heliconias and Ginger flowers. The flowers were so heavy we had to build it on site!

These Ecuador flowers are all grown, nurtured and harvested by local Ecuadorian women.
Roses are one of the most well-known species of bloom to come out of this region - with the flowers being grown at an elevations of up to 10,000 feet above sea level. This combined with the countries proximity to the sun combined with cool nights makes for great conditions to grow perfectly straight roses!
