Theodoor Gilissen Bankiers have one of those waiting rooms where you wouldn't mind turning up early for your appointment. It is certainly not your average private bankers building. Upon entering the front waiting room it's the beautiful sunlight that hits you first, followed by the super-chic designer furniture and tastefully selected art pieces. You may even see the great King Willem-Alexander smiling from the walls.
Shiny golden floor-standing lamps, a comfortable mint-coloured couch and a bright white interior makes it a pleasurable experience for our us to design flowers weekly.
We selected plants that would suit the colours of this unique office environment and that would also last well for this type of location. They are really enjoying the natural light in this wooden planter box!
Shades of purple and green can be seen throughout the plants, and also in the pieces of furniture.
In other rooms around the building you may also bump into some gorgeous bright blossoms. Stems of delicate cornflowers, bright red poppies, happy crysanthemums, trailing wisteria and sweet pea (lathryrus) seem to 'grow' out of the white tulip vase.
These are actually hand-selected 'silk' flowers which really bring some life to the room (and that amazing lime-coloured sofa).
Artificial flowers are a perfect way to decorate a room with minimal maintenance. They can also be replaced regularly according to taste or also to the changing seasons.
Upon close inspection you may be even be convinced that they are real!
