Aiala Hernando & The Dutch Masters
Paying homage to the great Dutch Master paintings of the 17th Century, concepts are thoughtfully dreamed up together with Aiala. We created a series documenting the four seasons, where flowers are artfully arranged, wild, and often tangled stems sprawling across the naturally lit settings, with an occasional stray butterfly or piece of fruit.
Floral still life’s from the Golden Age often contained flowers that could not exist together within the same period. We are so fortunate, centuries later, to have access to exclusive flowers from across the globe, to turn botanical impossibilities into modern day inspirations. We love to create the illusion of a painting, within a photograph.
