Ordering & Delivery

We deliver Monday to Saturday, between 10:30 and 18:00, based on an optimised and sustainable route. Our physical shop is closed on Sundays and Mondays, but Monday is very much a delivery day for us!

Our standard bouquets will be delivered the same day, if your order is placed before 10:30. We deliver Monday to Saturday between 10:30 and 18:00. Some feature bouquets require 2–3 working days advance notice. The specific turnaround is listed on each product. Requests received after 10:30 will be scheduled for the next working day.

If the recipient isn't home at the time of delivery, our courier will first attempt to deliver to the nearest neighbour. If that's not possible, the bouquet is returned to the store. We always leave a missed delivery note, so they the recipient knows a delivery was attempted - and they have the opportunity to collect it from the store. Should a re-delivery be required charges will apply to the sender.

If we have the requested flowers in stock at time of order, we can accommodate a special request. Please get in touch by email or phone prior to placing your order and we'll do our very best to accommodate. Once agreed, simply add your request in the 'Additional comments' field at checkout. Please note that photos of specific bouquets are not possible, but we promise we'll make it beautiful.

Yes, of course. Simply leave your name out of the personal message and your identity won't be shared with the recipient. Please note that for privacy reasons, we're also unable to look up or obtain private address details on a sender's behalf.

Absolutely. You're always welcome to collect in person! Simply select 'Pickup' at checkout (free of charge) and your bouquet will be ready for you during shop hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 09:00–17:00. We're located at Kerkstraat 151a, Amsterdam. Please note the shop is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Payment

Delivery costs depend on your location. Here's a full breakdown: Zone 1: Amsterdam €10 Zone 2: Amstelveen, Ouderkerk aan de Amstel & surrounds €15 For all zones incorrectly selected, an invoice will be mailed prior to delivery with the difference in payment. For deliveries outside these areas, please contact us in advance at info@apbloem.nl for a custom quote 24 hours in advance.

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express, as well as iDEAL, Bancontact and Google Pay. All transactions are secure and encrypted. Please note that we're unable to accept orders by phone or email — all orders must be placed through the website.

Our Flowers

The images on our website reflect our style and give a general feel for size and composition. Every bouquet we make is entirely hand-crafted and one of a kind. Flowers are always subject to seasonal availability, so the exact varieties may vary. We source only the freshest stems to make sure your bouquet is always something truly special.

Every bouquet leaves our shop wrapped in a protective transparent cellophane, designed to shield your flowers from rain, wind and the bumps of the journey, so they arrive looking just as beautiful as when they left us. If you'd like to make your bouquet extra special for a gifting occasion, we also offer a beautiful luxury gift packaging option for €10. You'll find the checkbox to add this directly on the product page, just below the Order button.

Yes, we'd love to help you make it personal! When placing your order, simply select your preferred card style directly on the product page. Our standard gold foil gift tag is just €0.50, or choose one of our beautiful keepsake cards from €3.50. You can add your personal message (up to 150 characters) in the text field on the product page. Every word will be written by hand with care.

Weekly Flower Subscriptions

We do, and it's one of our most loved services! Our Flowers on Friday subscription brings a fresh, exclusively designed bouquet to your door every week, just in time for the weekend. It's the perfect gift for someone special, or a beautiful way to bring life into your home or workspace. Choose from three bouquet styles: Posy - a compact, charming arrangement. From €25 per week. Field - a full seasonal field bouquet. From €25 per week. Flowers on Friday XL - a generous field arrangement. From €45 per week. Select your subscription length at checkout: 4, 8, 12 or 16 weeks. Weekly delivery is included in the price. Every subscription comes with a complimentary Dutch pickle jar, our signature transparent glass vase, and a little piece of Amsterdam to keep as a staple vase for home.

Flower Care

We want your flowers to last as long as possible, here are a few simple tips: Trim 2–3 cm off the stems at an angle before placing in water. Use a clean vase filled with fresh, cool water. Add the flower food sachet included with your bouquet. Keep your flowers away from direct sunlight, heat, and draughts. Change the water and re-trim the stems every 2–3 days.
